Flashback Shrimp

2 November 2013  |  JP

Tied just like a regular JT Flashback but with a bead at the centre of a straight hook - this gives a great imitation of profile of a swimming Gammarus. More shrimp patterns coming later this month!

Use a 3.0mm bead for a size 12 hook, a 2.5mm bead for a size 14 or a 2.0mm bead for a size 16. Try this pattern with hot-spot beads and natural coloured beads - don't be afraid to switch between different colours throughout the day.

Hook: Fish On Nymph/Wet (size 12, 14 or 16)
Bead: Fish On countersunk tungsten
Thread: Fish On UTS
Dubbing: Fish On  NBC
Flashback: Pearl mylar tinsel
Rib: Fish On Coloured Wire
