I love the previous DVDs. It's like they hit on the perfect formula for winning the lottery and, week-in-week they won the jackpot. Then for some bizarre reason, they decided to change the formula and lost. This for me is like this new DVD. The perfect formula has been changed and it just doesn't work. Don't get me wrong, it's still good but, there's just something missing. That X-factor thing that made the previous DVDs great. No Dean Andrews is a massive loss to this DVD. The quality of the production is nice but not to the other standard either and, I feel like a previous reviewer said, for the price, you only get 55 minutes. So, would I have bought this DVD if I'd have known exactly what it was like? Unfortunately no. I can only hope that in any future DVD releases, they go back to that winning formula.

I got this new DVD on day of its release, watched it over 5 times.
Love the new clear, focused informative. New format with graphics are great. Makes the angler think and understand how to fish the duo very clearly. Feeling positive and eager to put it into practice. Well done FishOn.
Hope you have lots more in the pipeline.

Just watched the new Dynamic Duo DVD. It is one of the most complete guides to fishing this method, setting out all the main points to helping us all to catch more fish in the future It was good to see the fish on team back in action well done. Kevin B

Was really looking forward to this DVD. John Tyzack is a very good angler and always has good tips whichever method being fished. The banter between himself and Dean Andrews made them very watchable .
Unfortunately Dean Andrews is no longer part of the DVD and it certainly suffers because of this.
John Pearson pops up to discuss strategies etc at the beginning and middle of the DVD, much as he does for his tenkara collaborations. For me, this just doesnt work. Its pretty boring, forced and looks like a youtube video. Why couldnt Tyzack describe all this at the waterside, it would be much more helpful to see it in a real situation rather than in theory.
The production looks much cheaper than previous DVD's. Theres very little conversation on stream and lots of voice over (again, for me, this doesnt work) The best bits are definitely Tyzack describing on stream what he is doing. The camera work looks much cheaper also.
Theres no pull out booklet on patterns etc. No needed of course, but nice to have as with previous DVD's.
I think future DVDs would definitely benefit from Tyzack wearing a microphone so he can describe what he is doing while on stream.
Also, £20 for 55minute DVD. Thats pretty expensive!
Is it worth a watch, Yes. Is it value for money, No.
